Yeon CHO | Notion

조찬연, 1999년 춘천에서 태어나 서울에서 자랐다. 2018년 대한민국의 월간 문예지 <현대시>에서 ‘당김의 성질’ 외 4편으로 등단하였다. 2020년 프랑스로 이주하여 본격적으로 미술 활동을 시작했다. 시와 비디오가 결합된 새로운 장르, ‘CVDO’를 만들기 위해 연구하고 있다. 비디오, 설치, 퍼포먼스 등을 통해 언어와 인류학적 질문들에 대해 이야기한다.

Yeon CHO est né en 1999 à Chuncheon et a grandi à Séoul en Corée du Sud. En 2018, il a été élu poète lauréat dans le magazine mensuel de poésie coréen 《Modern Poetry》 pour cinq de ses poèmes dont "La nature de la traction". En 2020, il déménage en France et commence son projet atstique. Il fait des recherches pour créer un nouveau genre, " CVDO ", qui combine poésie et vidéo. Il travaille sur l'anthropologie culture-sociale et la langue à travers la vidéo, l'installation et la performance.

Yeon CHO was born in 1999 in Chuncheon and grew up in Seoul, South Korea. In 2018, he was debuted as a poet in the Korean poetry magazine 《Modern Poetry》 for five of his poems including "The Nature of traction." In 2020, he moved to France and began his modern art project in earnest. He is researching to create a new genre, ‘CVDO’, which combines poetry and video. He works about cultural,social anthropology and language through video, installation, and performance.
